Hi, I’m Yusuf Kemal. I’m 21 and I’m on a mission to inspire us to reconsider how we live; how we love, communicate, and relate to each other; and ultimately, re-think the kind of world – the legacy – we truly want to leave behind.

Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire you to think differently. Our world presents numerous challenges to us on a daily basis, and we believe that none of us can truly ever have all the answers –or sometimes, even an answer. However, we believe that by exchanging perspectives with each another, we can help un-limit our minds and appreciate new points of view.
For when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.
By opening each others’ minds through novel ideas and new perspectives, we help each other see possibilities that we weren’t aware of before—only if we have the courage to let go of our old ideas and our limitations.
This, is how we reimagine our world.
William James, one of the most distinguished psychologists and philosophers America has ever produced, observed:

Our Vision
Our vision is for a more human world—A world where we treat each other as humans, above all else.
At Re-Considered, we catalyze each other’s thought processes by daring to ask uncomfortable questions and refusing to run away from a topic just because we find it contentious or uncomfortable. We are convinced that as we allow ourselves to open our minds, we learn how to communicate better and more respectfully and thus, become our truest, most human selves. We believe that only together, can we become truly human.
We are here to let our light shine so brightly others can see their way out of the dark.

Many yearn to share their minds, express their souls and pour their hearts into something greater than themselves.
Re-Considered aims to empower these thinkers by providing a safe space for them to discuss matters they do not feel they can raise elsewhere—not even with their closets ones.
We envision a world where everyone feels safe to freely share their thoughts and unique experiences without fear of retaliation.
Our vision is to create a world where the human individual does not live within his limits, but has the courage to push beyond them.
A world where every human being is empowered to find—and reach—their true potential.

We live in a world where having a differing perspective might cost us a relationship with a loved one.
We believe that the act of continual re-thinking will help us all reconnect with each other on a deeper level and attain more meaningful relationships, transform our careers and massively boost life satisfaction.
By encouraging thought-stimulating conversations in psychologically safe spaces, we aim to re-imagine our world and propel humanity’s path forward beyond anything previously imaginable.
It is said that our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate; Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond our wildest imaginations. One area where this is true is in the power of conversation.
When starting a conversation, it helps to think of the discussion as a negotiation where the prize is figuring out what everyone wants, and then shaping our responses with the intention to connect with the other side. Above all, the ultimate goal of any conversation is to connect. What we see depends on the lens we choose to look through: the way we choose to interpret reality shapes how we view it. And that, is often shaped by conversations.
